mini brief little monsters

Kate Moross is a 35 year old who is an english graphic designer, Illustrator and art director. She is known for her typography illustations. Kate designs follow a pattern such as three shapes, illegibe typraphy and she is fond of freeform lettering. She is currently the art director of studio Moross. her work is also very bight and colourful. her typography is closer proximity. the colour she uses for her work is very vibrant.

The layout of kate moross work can attracts the viewers attentions and make their eyes stance her work. in her work she uses close proximity. her front she uses is front wights (i think)

Friday 14th May 2021
LO: develop character illustrator in response to give a brief.


last lesson we created our little monster poster. my thoughts about my work is mostly negative. i found the most challenging was created the monster in illustrator because i'm not that good at using it. my aim to develop my work is to try be get better at using illustrator. 



 






Today lesson i carried on making my monster. I made a eyed by using the gradient tool and then kept coping it. I then began to make the mouth and add the teeth.

The proximity is close and the colours are bight. My work is not symmetrical. 



Wednesday 26th May 2021




this is some other character that i did in this lesson. I've use the pen tool and trace the image i wanted to use. I also added some things of my own, like in the first image i added a mouth and blood dripping from the eye. The fist image is not bight colour where as my scend one is.

LO: explore the use of type in movies posters. 



The use of font for the lion king is script and serif. There is small lines and hook also the disney is a script because its uses flowing cursive strokes.

for the background i use a dark colour and then added a tile.

i change the tile into a serif and then add a background with tress and a mounting. i puts stars to make it look more nicer and a moon. 
Wednesday 30th June 2021 



i change the colour of the title to something dark and a stroke on the names above along with adding blood dripping from the name to make it like creepy. 



in the background i then added some trees to make it look a bit like a foast. i wanted to give it a bit of a creepy edge to it but not make it to creepy. i use black for the tress to make it look like its far away.

    Great start here Claire, read through this again and use capital letters at the start of sentences and the tense of your writing should be: The use of typography uses a close proximity....

    Excellent characters here claire. Would like to see you develop these further. Experiment with colour on each and take screen shots.
